With summer winding down a lot of people are looking for ways to get away before we head into fall. As much as I wish I could hop on a plane to Croatia, I’m landlocked here in California and looking for small and SAFE mini vacations to take instead. With that in mind, I’ve put together a list of my favorite Airbnbs in Joshua Tree for a staycation. Whether you’re on a budget or looking to splurge, these Airbnbs make the perfect memorable getaway.

By now you may have heard of this Joshua Tree staple, but if not, Dome in the Desert is one of the cutest little bohemian yet chic Airbnbs in all of Joshua Tree. Perfect for a small group of 4 friends and let’s just say you’ll be Instagramming the entire time.
Architect’s Off-Grid Stargazing Cabin
The level of chic architecture this cabin is serving up, leaves me in awe! I love that you can stay with friends while having your own personal space. Don’t even get me started on how much I love the outdoor bedroom on the roof!
Absolutely picture perfect! Even though the maximum guest count is 4, you won’t feel cramped at this spacious retreat that even has a pool and a hot tub! Say less.
Cielito Lindo
This Airbnb is what dreams are made of. If you’ve got the cash, you’ll get hot tubs, cowboy tubs, chic outdoor showers, and the best stargazing Joshua Tree has to offer.
Rock Reach House
The name says it all - this Airbnb is serving up authentic Joshua Tree boulders left and right. You’ll get tons of natural light and stars at night, outdoor showers, hot tubs and pools hidden away in the rocks and all the space you’ll need. I’m absolutely obsessed with this one!
